Date Balls

I got this recipe from my friend Jodi, but I've changed it a little.
It's easy, natural, and delicious!

Ingredients:

500 grams dry dates
1 cup yellow raisins
1/4 cup shredded coconut
2 T. peanut butter
1 T. tehina paste
1 T. carob powder
1 cup walnuts, chopped
extra shredded coconut

Directions:

Soak the raisins in hot water and then drain. Pit the dates. Combine dates, raisins, and coconut in the food processor. Process until mixed. Add peanut butter, tehina paste, and carob powder. Blend until smooth, but do not allow to become a paste. Add the chopped nuts and mix. (You can do it in the processor, but try not to let the nuts get crushed too small.)
Shape the mixture into 3/4 inch balls and roll in the extra coconut shavings.
Refrigerate.

Enjoy!
